How many cars do we need?
It
depends on your wedding. A full formal wedding generally requires
two cars. The lead car for the bride and her father and a second
car for the bridesmaids, pageboys and brides mother.
A smaller registry office wedding may require only one car.
Do you
have matching cars?
Yes,
we are able to provide twelve matching sets of cars. These can be
in white, black and ivory and blue and ivory.
Can
we smoke in the cars?
Unfortunately
not.
Can
we view your cars?
Yes,
our cars are available for you to view by appointment.
Are
your Chauffeurs reliable?
Yes,
we are a family business. My father bill looks after our fleet and
drives, our drivers are my brother, husband and cousins.
Do you
do any more than one wedding a day with your cars?
No,
one wedding per day per car maximum.
What
happens if the car(s) booked for my wedding day are not available?
It
is our policy to maintain our cars to a very high standard. we regularly
carry out work on our cars to stop this happening. However, on the
rare occasion that it does we would contact you immediately and
offer you an alternative car(s). if you are not happy with the cars
offered and wish to book a car(s) with somebody else we could give
you a full refund of your booking fee.
What
happens if one of your vintage or classic cars breaks down on our
job?
Again,
our attention to maintaining our vehicles is such that this will
be a very rare event. Should it happen we have back up cars available
should the time & distance be practical as not all of our cars
are out on the same day, it is company policy to have at least 2
cars not booked on any one day to cover either event detailed in
the previous two questions.
When
do we need to book the car(s)?
As soon as you can. Good cars book out quickly, we quote
on average 15-20 jobs per week and bookings are taken on a first
come first served basis.
Will
your cars be on time?
It
is our policy to ensure your job is meticulously planned. Your pick
ups and drop offs checked and timings confirmed. Our drivers will
usually arrive at your first pick up point 15 minutes early to have
time to attach ribbons to the car and check it is ready for its
journey.
We cannot however be responsible for unforeseen traffic conditions
or local traffic restrictions.
Are
your vehicles suitably insured for wedding work?
Yes,
all of our vehicles are insured on a full comprehensive cover for
social domestic and pleasure and private hire (weddings). We also
have full breakdown and accident emergency cover on all vehicles
plus public liability cover of £2,000,000.
